Pop with old and new heritage area

Setting off fireworks on New Year's Eve is a Dutch tradition. Consumer fireworks with old and new is therefore added to the National Inventory Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Netherlands.

Setting off fireworks hear many Dutch in old and new, but in recent years the enthusiasm decreases. More and more municipalities are set for this year's fireworks-free zones in.

'New' traditions
Apart from consumer fireworks include Indian Rijsttafel, Duindorp Bonfire, Ouwe Sunderklaas and Meierblis on Texel, cook the Limburg syrup and Brielle Masquerade added to the National Inventory. There are now more than 90 traditions on the list.
