Comedian Youp van 't Hek has spent the last week undergoing major surgery, he will need several months to recover.
It was the last few weeks is not clear what was wrong with him. During the operation a number of bypasses is applied, says its management.
Van 't Witch management announced that the performances are canceled in January and February. It is not clear if the performances can be overtaken. It is still too early to say whether the performances from March to June continue.

Van 't Hek has a charge time of his health. A year ago, a year-old conference from him was canceled in the Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam because he was not feeling well.
In October he held on medical advice two weeks of rest. This month, Van 't Hek twice unwell on stage. On December 10 he had to stop after ten minutes a gig in Papendrecht, a few days later he was unwell again. His management had known then that his tour until further notice was interrupted.
