"There is a universe where time runs backwards'

Scientists do relgematig discoveries that make your head spin, but this is a very bizarre: physicists believe that there is a parallel universe where time does not forward, but backward running.

They have a model that should show how the conditions were at the Big Bang. In this model, two universes are created: one in which we live, and the other in which time runs backwards.

The model has not been published yet, but New Scientist writes all about it. Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology assumes that the Big Bang works as a 'Janus', named after the Roman god Janus who had two faces. At the big bang hovered a lot of particles in exactly the opposite direction. This created two universes where time ran in two directions. In our universe, time is running one way and the other in exactly the opposite direction.

That means that the time in the universe runs backwards in our perspective. But from the perspective of the parallel universe is truly our time precisely backwards. Scientists still discuss whether the model is true, because it is not entirely flawless.
