One of the youths told the Ombudsman that he had to stay a whole day in his room because his supervisor had a funeral. Then he compensated with chips and cola. ,, I will not be bribed, I want to seriously looks at my business, 'he would have said to the Ombudsman.

RESPECT OF CHARGE
The symptoms are often not taken seriously by supervisors, who describe the young people's behavior as "disrespectful". To improve the complaints Dullaert presents ten rules and detailed recommendations, which states that young people must be better informed about how they can complain. It is also common in these rules to decide themselves which they complain that the complaints should be handled by an independent person, and that the settlement should be faster.

The new rules will be distributed to youth institutions. There will also be a brochure for young people in closed institutions, to educate them about complaints procedures.
