CFP: Healthy competition between cities

No one cherishes the competition between Amsterdam and Rotterdam as much as Amsterdam and Rotterdam itself.

We both cherish a healthy urge to do better than the other. At each competition that passes, I peek yet again just how they did it there in Rotjeknor. And that goes the other way undoubtedly.

But just as our mayors get along well with each other (ours awards of their even some of the tourists that are so important for our city), as well we are also going through a door with our colleagues from RET. We regularly exchange knowledge and experiences.

Admittedly, they do well there in Rotterdam. This is evident from the results of the annual Customer Barometer which they invariably are at the top. But yeah. Other city, other challenges huh ... Also this year we look eagerly - and somewhat tense - looking forward to March 17, because the results of the Customer Barometer will be published again.

We at CFP really aspires to be the best city carrier of the Netherlands. That's why we put structurally to enhance the travel experience. There are currently two trials going on at the tram which we want to measure the effect. Tram 2 introduces a temporary open-door policy (and no, that is NOT based on the Rotterdam model) and aboard tram 5 foot mobile hosts. We are curious what both tests provide us with insights and information. Not only in terms of passenger satisfaction and flow, but also with regard to safety, dodging and revenue.

To be continued.
