Halle police and fire of the zone Flemish Brabant West have had their hands full last night with the havoc that was wreaked by a driver on the border of Halle and Sint-Pieters-Leeuw.
Around 00:30 week the motorist to a still unclear cause of the roadway. He snapped his heavy Audi A8 at a parked van at the height of the BMW-garage along the Mons road. The hit was so hard that the van ended up on its roof.
The Audi 100 meters in the direction of Halle came to a halt. His car bumped into a fence on the other side of the double carriageway. As if by miracle hit no one was hurt, but the driver committed though flight crime.
