It is the most horrible nightmare of every parent: your child that suffers in a pond and drowns. Sarah Aitken (32) and Mervyn Scott (30) got such an inhuman tragedy double.
Their twin sons, Rhys and Shaun, of barely two years died drowning in the Scottish Dalgety Bay. Mom and dad thought the brothers were playing inside, but they were slipped out. To the garden pond with fish.
Around 8 h 20 yesterday morning were the emergency services called to the House in Dalgety Bay, after the two boys were found in the pond. They were still rushed to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy transferred, but died moments later both.
The parents are, as the entire neighborhood, in deep shock and get psychological assistance. Police are investigating exactly what happened. Sarah Aitken and Mervyn Scott would have rented the House recently. The previous owner acted in Koi fish.
