The Scottish National Party launches this summer a new "initiative" to the Scots to convince of the need for independence from Great Britain.
That party leader and Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon has announced Saturday. A year and a half ago, there appeared to be no majority in a referendum for Scottish independence.
55 percent of Scottish voters rejected in 2014 the independence, but that discourages the nationalists of the SNP. "Our dream is an independent Scotland. We want to be able to determine our own future. Therefore launches the SNP this summer a new initiative to garner support for independence, "said Sturgeon for a three thousand supporters of the party in Glasgow.
Sturgeon also reiterated that any departure of Britain from the European Union a new referendum on the independence of Scotland can usher. The British may log on 23 June in a referendum to vote on EU membership. According to Sturgeon, whose party enjoys an absolute majority in Scotland, it would be "democratically unjust" If the Scots against their will be pushed in from the European Union.
