The Sunday Times reveals major doping scandal

The British newspaper The Sunday Times comes with a great story about doping. Against undercover journalists from the newspaper told Mark Bonar doctor that he has provided 150 athletes from doping.

According to The Sunday Times, there are on the customer list of doctors among others a famous cricketer, British cyclists in the Tour de France reason, a boxing champion and tennis players and footballers in the Premier League. It is not yet known for which athletes involved, or what drugs they used.

From the top football players would Arsenal, Chelsea and got the current frontrunner Leicester City products from the doctor. There are no comments of those clubs on the revelations of the newspaper.

John Whittingdale, the British Minister for Sport, hasordered inquiry into the UK Anti-Doping Authority (Ukad). That organization was two years ago have been informed of the activities of Bonar.

"I am shocked and deeply concerned by these allegations," said Whittingdale. "Sports fans have the right to make sure that they look at honest sport."

Whittingdale complimented the newspaper revelations. "I am grateful for the good investigative journalism of The Sunday Times, and that they bring to light these abuses."
