Rotterdam 'Office Papers' wants independent investigation

Rotterdam's attorney and notary firm Ploum Lodder Princen (PLP) wants to see an independent investigation in response to allegations made against the office.

That research should be carried out by the statutory regulator Financial Supervision Office (BFT). The office name appeared in the Panama Papers.


According to Trouw and Het Financieele Dagblad have PLP and trust office Infintax Amsterdam set up complex schemes for foreign companies and wealthy individuals. The newspapers call included the apparent sale of a property in Ecuador that has to conceal a transaction of nearly two million from the tax haven of Anguilla.

PLP announces noted to have ontzettting of coverage and is not identified in any way in the allegations. The firm wants to be in his own words protect reputation by enabling BFT. The current chairman of the company because of the purity temporarily resigned.

Cowboy Behavior
PLP since the end of 2012 the permanent notary of a trust office which has ties to Mossack Fonseca in the Netherlands. At least two transactions are according to Professor Emeritus notarial law Martin Jan van Mourik striking. He calls it "legal cowboy behavior, where a notary would have to keep away from.
