Getting a patient file sometimes takes very long. If the hospital this matter finally delivers, there appears still to be anything wrong with it.
NEGLIGENT
The files contain errors of prescription medications. In one file is missing information about two surgeries and childbirth. Another patient is reading in its file that she has children, which is not the case.
One patient even received the files of two other patients. The names and diagnoses stood by.
INVESTIGATION
"A careful medical record is very important and we are sincerely shocked by these results," says Bart Combée, director of the Consumer. He urged the Health Inspectorate (Inspectorate) to further investigate and find out whether this is a structural problem.
