Son killed soldier writes touching letter

Rob Donkers soldier was killed during a mission in Afghanistan in 2007. The 8-year-old Stan from Kerkrade never knew his father.

He would therefore like to know more about him and wrote a letter to the family, friends and colleagues of his father.

,, I ask you some questions about dad? Because I have not known him, you guys! "He wrote in the letter. The letter was distributed via Facebook and Twitter. Also Minister Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert of Defence shared the touching letter via Twitter. The poignant message has been retweeted more than 1,300 times.

ACCIDENT
On April 6, 2007 Rob Donkers was killed in an accident with an armored vehicle in the Afghan province of Uruzgan. By wegverzakking overturned the vehicle and the 33-year-old sergeant came under the vehicle correctly. His wife Mira at the time was pregnant with their son Stan.

n Stan's letter raises a number of questions. So he wants to know what his father cute, tasty and found cool. He also wants to know whether he loved animals and did well in school. But actually wants Stan to know everything, all the stories about his father. Also photos and videos are good, he writes.
