The team has resources for about 14 days, said forensic pathologist Frank van de Goot. "It has to happen. We have four large search areas in mind. If we have searched, then we have found something or whether we can indicate the likelihood that we'll find something."

The 22-year-old medicine student disappeared last October during a trek along the Nile River. The police think it has become fallen and victims in the river wildlife. After the disappearance sought Ugandan and Dutch police to Sophia.

"The last thing Sophia found what garments in the vicinity of the river," From the Gutter says part of the investigation team. "That was some distance from her guest spot. She would have gone to the toilet. Hours and hours later, perhaps even days later found these garments."

The forensic pathologist into question the scenario outlined by the Ugandan police. "I do not deny that scenario or leveling. But the fact that her clothing was found on the land and is neatly put out, I consider a scenario with only wild animals, extremely unlikely."

Gutter traveled in March last year down to Panama and there searching for the missing Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon. The team studied there different scenarios and finally concluded that Kris and Lisanne probably killed.

The uncertainty is currently the biggest challenge.

In the earlier quests for Sophia was used including a drone to scour the area. "But if you look at the terrain, then air totally inadequate research You have to be physically present;.. Crawl through the undergrowth is why we go there now."

He stressed that the team is not without reason to Uganda. "There are a number of scenarios that no longer real. In particular, the parents and the relatives want to demonstrate or exclude these scenarios, so that the next step can enter the life. The uncertainty is currently the biggest challenge."
