People frantically for suicide shampoo Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters is completely the fault continued with a new shampoo called Peachy Head - Peach Shampoo For Suicidal Hair. The brand received a flood of commentary about the shampoo on social media and the product immediately removed from the shelves.

The shampoo, designed for teenage girls, refers to the name Peachy Head to Beachy Head, a notorious place in East Sussex, England where many committed suicides. On the back of the shampoo bottle is an illustration of hair, in the form of a body, which itself afgooit of a rock.

Social media rained furious reactions. Urban Outfitters is known include "irresponsible" and "despicable." In response to the many indignant reactions Urban Outfitters decided to get the product directly from the shelves.

DIRECT FROM THE SHELVES

According to Paul Marshall, co-founder of Urban Outfitters, it has never been the intention to cause offense or to make light on the subject of suicide.

"As always, we closely monitor all feedback, good or bad, and we respond as it should be," Marshall tells the Huffington Post. "Peachy Head is already on sale for several years and is still loved by many customers. That does not mean that we deny that suicide - and in particular suicide among teens - is a growing problem and we never want to be seen as an organization that does airy about it. "

Peachy Head is part of a product line of Anatomicals, which is played with words at all products.
