"This year, 100,000 refugees from Libya to Europe

The UN expects that this year at least 100,000 refugees coming from Libya to Europe. The first quarter of this year ventured all 24,000 people crossing from the North African country.

So says the UN special envoy Martin Kobler to the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag.And those were the colder months.

"If you go over this year will definitely 100,000 migrants cross the Mediterranean, '' says Kobler further states that as long as there is no functioning government in that country, no one can effectively address the problem.

The old route used by many refugees, has been used less now via Turkey to Greece. The EU signed an agreement with Turkey on taking back refugees who enter Europe that way.

It is expected that refugees take other routes such as the route through Libya.
