Iraqi killed girlfriend and fled

BREDA - The 23-year-old Iraqi Shuwan L. is on trial today for the court in Breda for the murder of his 20-year-old girlfriend Rachel Bito Abelenda.

The victim is at the age of 13 moved from Cuba to the Netherlands. She learned Shuwan L. know in school and out of Iraq fled man pulls soon with Rachel and her family. The two maintained a difficult relationship. Rachel is constantly monitored by Shuwan L. and the two have a lot of arguing about what Rachel can and especially can not.

On the night of Saturday 21 to Sunday, September 22 get the two fighting again, if they are visiting a friend of Rachel in Tilburg. Shuwan L. bring Rachel home, but in a later telephone conversation between Rachel and a friend turns out they do not drive on the way to the ancestral home in Tilburg. Three hours later the vehicle, which includes Rachel, found by a taxi driver. The car is half on the strip for the bus stop and half on the road a car, with the engine running.

The suspect appeared Shuwan L. fled to Switzerland, where he was arrested in March 2014. Since then he's stuck.
