Acquittal in showbiz murder

Martien Hunnik has more than 34 years after the very controversial so-called showbiz murder, Tuesday still acquitted of this crime. It concerns the murder record producer Bart van der Laar on 10 November 1981.

The record was boss with a gunshot wound in his head were found in his home in Hilversum.

He died three days later. Van der Laar was a producer of well-known artists and bands like Babe, Luv, Corry Konings and Benny Neyman.The murder of the flamboyant label boss was a shock to the Dutch artists world.

Hunnik was sentenced in 1984 to two years in prison and TBS.
