WASHINGTON - Hackers working for the Russian government broke into the computers of the Democrats in the US, the party of President Barack Obama and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton
According to The Washington Post they have seen among other information gathered by the party over the Republican candidate, Donald Trump.
The burglars were able to see mail exchanges and chats, said officials about the management of the party and people safety. The computer break-in at the Democrats was targeted in a series against American political organizations. As networks of the two presidential candidates were attacked and databases from the Republicans. It is not known what has been there.
A spokesman for the Russian embassy in the US said no knowledge of computer intrusions.
