Conditional disqualification at European Championships for Russia

The disciplinary committee of the European football Russia has given a fine of 150,000 euros and a suspended disqualification from the European Championship.

The Russian federation was given the punishment Tuesday because of the riots last week in Marseille, where hooligans at the Stade Vélodrome fireworks contrasted exhibited racist behavior and English supporters harassed.

The conditional disqualification applies to the rest of the tournament.Should the Russian supporters misbehave themselves again in the stadiums, their country team is put out of the European Championship. Russia has accepted the punishment .

Marseille

Russian hooligans were looking for last week in Marseille repeatedly confronted with English fans, which led to three days of rioting in the southern French city.
