FNV: Abuses at motorway construction Frisian

Employees who work on a new motorway in Friesland, get too little paid to the agencies that have hired them.

This enables trade union FNV, which accuses the province of Friesland in the maintenance of this abuse. Yahoo! News reports that the federation has sent an urgent letter to the county.

FNV visited several construction sites and drew in consequence conclude that the collective agreement is not respected. The union has already made a claim on behalf of employees in temporary employment Technicum and subcontractor Burgummerdaam. A2 tunnel
A few years ago showed that foreign workers who were involved in the construction of the A2 Maastricht tunnel did not get paid enough for the Irish employment agency Rimec. Last year, they were still satisfaction: Polish and Portuguese construction workers were paid include back wages and pension contributions.

The judge ruled that foreign workers were entitled to the same working conditions as Dutch employees.
