Nearly all teachers in secondary schools say students make offer no good education. That is twice as many as last year. Confidence in appropriate education is alarmingly low. According to research by DUO.

91 percent of teachers in secondary education say they have too little time to students who need extra help, to help good. Examples include students with autism, ADHD or physical disabilities.

78 percent can spend less time on the rest of the class, because the energy goes to the extra care. These percentages are higher than last year (47 and 42 percent). When DUO Education Research and the AD took stock after one year of appropriate education.

Teachers in minor
Research at the end of this second school seem especially high school teachers in a minor key. They feel that they can not give the attention to the student that he needs. On average they have five 'backpack kids "in class.

It takes most of the teachers that insufficient expertise in school for students who need additional support to help good. They also argue that there is too little money for it. Confidence in appropriate education, where many students as possible with a mental or physical impairment should be in regular classes, is dramatically low.

No trust
Only three percent of teachers in primary and secondary schools, believes there is still two years after its introduction. More than half of the teachers in secondary education has no confidence that needs pupils are better off in a regular classroom in primary schools is 43 percent.

,, Teachers find that the problems persist, '' explains researcher Liesbeth van der Forest. According umbrella VO Council, the problems are mainly due to an accumulation of work. ,, The workload is a problem. There are many new things expected of teachers, '' said a spokesman. VO Council calls for fewer hours.

Defectiveness
Even in primary schools, the teachers feel that they are inadequate. That represents 86 percent of the teachers that they can not do enough to help pupils with special needs. And that extra help is at 75 percent at the expense of the rest of the class.

Industry Representative PO Council recognizes the problems. Schools ,, indicate that appropriate education is a complex process, '' said a spokesman. ,, Increased the workload disproportionately by the silent cuts in the PO. There, teachers suffer from it. "According to the PO Council has time and money to get care for all pupils.

Mission impossible
In parliament the parties react differently. The SP sees the study as confirmation that appropriate education is a wrong idea. ,, This is an impossible task for schools, '' said parliamentarian Siderius. ,, The classes are too large. We students should not want to push necessarily special to mainstream schools. ''

A majority feels that the system needs time. ,, We know that it is not perfect yet, '' said VVD Straus. ,, We can gain much by better supporting teachers. ''
