Berlin-on behalf of several German politicians, human rights activists and public figures have two Hamburg-based lawyers filed suit against the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other Turkish Government officials.
They accuse them of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The indictment of more than two hundred pages was presented Monday in Berlin. It is mainly about military intervention in the Kurdish areas in the southeast of Turkey, especially in the town of Cizre. In september 2015, when the State of emergency was proclaimed, there were 21 civilians. Another important point is the death of at least 178 people in the period december to March, when a curfew gold.
