They accuse them of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The indictment of more than two hundred pages was presented Monday in Berlin. It is mainly about military intervention in the Kurdish areas in the southeast of Turkey, especially in the town of Cizre. In september 2015, when the State of emergency was proclaimed, there were 21 civilians. Another important point is the death of at least 178 people in the period december to March, when a curfew gold.

The advocates Britta Eder und Petra Dervishaj said their clients will feel obliged, ethical, here in the Federal Republic Declaration of the systematic war crimes in Turkey. '' That's according to the increasing tolerance of legislation possible.

The 178 victims were found in a trio of bomb shelters where they sought protection in vain against the attacks of the Turkish army. The salvaged seem largely were charred. On the basis of witness statements and other evidence exists the suspicion that security forces have poured gasoline in the spaces and ignited. It is also suggested that the people first with heavy weapons have been killed and then burnt.

Erdogan is held responsible. The indictment also filed against among others former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
