THE HAGUE - Former police chief Gerard Bouman will be heard by an integrity committee of the police over his role in the 'geldsmijtrel' around the Central Works Council (CWC).

Naamloos1-40.pngThe scandal is likely to be larger now hitting fraud is investigated. That report well informed sources from De Telegraaf within the National Police.

Bouman is heard within two weeks by a team from the Safety Department, Integrity and Complaints (VIK) which examines the spending. Which is questioning him about his role in the bizarre spending of the board.

The executive committee of the COR spent about two million between early January 2015 and April 2016. Money was spent on outside experts, expensive parties and dinners.

Former police boss Bouman saw that the budgets were exceeded by several tons, but did not intervene. He agree in all expenditure. Even after CWC president Giltay was arrested for an assault, it could just stay on.
