Donation mistrusts international charities

Donors to charities confidence international aid organizations the least. According to a biennial survey of brand research company Henry Beerda Brand Consultancy 2000 Dutch.

Dutch charities
All charity KWF has the strongest image among the Dutch population. The Red Cross and the Foundation Kika (Kika) are on place two and three.

The World Wildlife Fund, CliniClowns, the Heart Foundation, UNICEF and MSF score well in terms of reputation. According to the researchers charities that focus on improving the situation in their own country ,, clearly an advantage '' to the average Dutchman.

The strong position of the Dutch Cancer Society owes the organization to a combination of fear and trust, the brand consultant explains. ,, Everyone knows someone with cancer in his environment, making the fear of the disease is high, '' said Beerda.

Nature Organizations
Furthermore, the bad reputation of environmental organizations is striking. Beerda: ,, While nature and animals arouse warm feelings in people, most environmental organizations have a little sympathetic and even somewhat arrogant image.
