1800 dead "drug dealers" in the Philippines since taking office Duterte

Since the inauguration of the Philippine president Duterte in May, the number of drug-related homicides doubled. Philippine police said the death toll has risen to about 1800. Saturday reported a thousand deaths.

Slightly more than 700 people killed during police operations. In the rest of cases there was no official involvement of the police. NOS correspondent Michel Maas said Saturday that the killings may be committed by "agents a bit about working in their spare time."
