Amstelveen Friday businesswoman Miep Brons deceased, reports De Telegraaf. She became 72 years. Her husband, businessman and art dealer Loek Brons, died in June.
Miep was saleswoman in the textile chain of Bronze when they met. Together they exploited several chains with cheap textiles. Later, she was known by the chain of porn video stores she founded.
She and her husband were also art collectors and art dealers. They focused on magic-realist art, with works by Carel Willink and Pyke Koch.
Miep and Loek Brons were well-known figures in the Amsterdam society. They gave extravagant parties in their villas in front of the Amsterdam Hilton hotel. Miep also enjoyed some notoriety with its carnival squatter Who wants to see my poetry smoothness.
