"Collective retirement is passé '

Most Dutch people want to get rid of the current collective pension and want more freedom of choice. Only a quarter will not change the current system. Reported ABN AMRO MeesPierson Thursday based on its own research.

Nearly 42 percent of respondents prefer an individual pension. A third sees according to ABN Amro MeesPierson most benefit in the pension system is a combination of collective and individual building.
