"We give you a chance, an opportunity that would not give you to your daughter"

"Very weak motif"

The couple was arrested for attempted murder of their daughter eleven. Andy D. was additionally prosecuted for arson. Cindy M. already came after a month on parole and was hospitalized. The chambers in Kortrijk, which was to decide on the further detention of the man, already ruled several times to also let him parole but the prosecutor again appealed.

The Prosecution now seeks to both parents an effective prison sentence of five years. "We give them another chance. A chance that you do not want to give your daughter," says Janssens.

The defense Tuesday still calls for both defendants.
