ASSIZES. "I've done it, Mathieu has destroyed my life"

For the Court of Assizes in Tongeren, the policemen of the zone Maasland and the Federal judicial police Limburg Friday afternoon the investigation into the murder of Mathieu Haile smoothly.

Initially Amsterdammer Robert Bell in april 2013 as a witness heard. But several witnesses being tenant Robert Clock as a possible suspect.

In the last two weeks for the facts there were two incidents between Haile and clock. In 2011 was Haile, itself no stranger to the Court, al victim of an assassination attempt.

The investigators did have what to to check the alibi of Clock hands. He had on 6 april 2013, the day of the murder, after all, around 9 am the bus to Maaseik. There he was going shopping and a coffee. Then he pulled back to New Delhi for its buy into his studio.

Two Park Rangers checked him in the nature reserve Mountain inheriting to the chapel of the resistance in Rotem (Dilsen-Stokkem). They found that he looked nervous. To Alexander Gamboa of the Maasland well-known clock on 9 april 2013 police that he had killed Hakim. Since then he was no longer regarded as a witness, but as perpetrator. "I've done it. Mathieu Haile has destroyed my life, "said clock to the policeman in Maaseik.
