Wilders was indicted for incitement to discrimination and hatred and insulting Moroccans racial. Geert-Jan Knoops, Wilders' lawyer asked the court in late September to declare inadmissible the Prosecutor's Office.

According to the Hague court is a comprehensive and substantive "debate need to assess whether Wilders guilty of defamation and inciting discrimination and hatred.

Review statements
Knoops argued that Wilders' statements of a political nature and not a court judgment should pass on it. The statements should be evaluated according to him by the voters. ,, You see numerous statements by politicians that are offensive to certain nationalities, but the OM not continued. And rightly so. As Mr Wilders should not be prosecuted, '' said Knoops end of September. The judge rejected this argument. ,, This case is not about to review its policy, but the specific statements, '' said the judge in response.

The prosecution considers that only the court can decide whether PVV leader Geert Wilders with his "less, less' statements has committed an offense or not. To enable the court to make a good judgment, is first required a full trial, argued Prosecutor Sabina van der Kallen.

The trial of Geert Wilders will be October 31 start.
