Mayors: there should be a ban on motorcycle gangs

Motorcycle gangs should be banned in the Netherlands, found mayors. According to a survey of EenVandaag among dozens of mayors that have to do with motorcycle gangs, or Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs (OMG) in their municipality.

The city fathers feel that they lack the capacity to tackle the growing nuisance of gangs.Three-quarters (73 percent) is therefore a ban EenVandaag reported Wednesday.

The editors explained the questionnaire to the 135 mayors who are members of the National Strategic Consultation for the integrated approach to OMG's.

The majority (71) cooperated in the investigation. Half of the interviewed mayors (47 percent) experiencing nuisance of motorcycle gangs in their community. According to 44 percent of them, which increased in the last five years.
