Knoops Wilders continues to assist despite unsuccessful challenge

Geert-Jan Knoops politician Geert Wilders continues to assist in the criminal proceedings against him. After challenge rejected the request last week, Knoops was considering pulling out of his hands from the trial because he had no faith in a fair trial.

The challenge chamber ruled last Friday that Elianne van Rens can remain as a judge in the case of the less-Marokkanen'-statements by the PVV leader. Knoops had the day before, asked to replace the judge because she claimed he had shown bias when questioning expert witness Paul Cliteur.

The process goes on November 14 further. The case is about the statements that the politician did two years ago. Wilders said on March 12, 2014 in the district Loosduinen that The Hague ,, a city with less expense and if possible less Moroccans '' should be. A week later, he asked the municipal elections on the evening to a room full of PVV voters whether they wanted more or less Moroccans. Chanted ,, less, less, less.
