Sisters Holleeder time being heard

The two sisters of top criminal Willem Holleeder, Astrid and Sonja are as yet not heard at a public hearing, if the court in Amsterdam has decided. This also applies to the ex-girlfriend of Holleeder, Sandra den Hartog.

Women have extremely incriminating statements on Holleeder and his involvement in several high-profile assassinations in the underworld. The evidence against Holleeder is largely based on those statements.

Hollow managers sisters have recorded a number of conversations with him, that have to support their statements.

But the judges it is too early to let them testify now. Not all the results in the complex investigation are known and there will await the court.

Holleeder is accused inter alia of having played a leading role in the murders of his fellow Heineken kidnapper Cor van Hout (2003), real estate magnate Willem Endstra (2004), John Mieremet and Kees Houtman, who were both liquidated on November 2, 2005 and Thomas van der Bijl (2006).

The court has decided that Holleeder in custody remains.
