Six of Breda again convicted by the court in The Hague for the murder of a woman in 1993. The earlier decision of the court in Den Bosch is maintained.

Reliable

The Chinese woman Tim Mui Cheung, also known as Grandma Mug, was killed at the restaurant of her son. She had been strangled and beaten with a wok. The slot machine was looted.

The women said years after the first sessions that they had confessed under pressure from their interrogators, or in the hope that they could go home. But in reviewing certain the judge that the statements were sufficiently reliable to be used as evidence. There were new traces found no evidence that the men were involved in the murder, but not that they were not involved.

New witnesses

There were also new evidence surfaced which stated that they had seen nothing special in the restaurant. But according to court statements which added nothing to the evidence. Nor can it be determined whether the witnesses or in the vicinity of the restaurant at the time of the murder.

The sextet has always maintained to have nothing to do with the death of the woman. They do not go back to jail because they have already served their sentences. The verdict of the court in The Hague was important because the convicted persons would be entitled to compensation.
