This places a commission headed by Socialist Party MP Ronald van Raak. "Receipts that remain hidden, information remains in a drawer in a ministry. It is crucial that the House gets a new weapon in their hands. One of the important tasks of MPs is to check the government and this is good information is essential, "said Van Raak Wednesday at the presentation of the findings.

Commission

The Lower House decided in late 2013 to set up the commission to look at how MPs can learn about abuses. The Court has already the possibility of a parliamentary inquiry. But that is an in-depth, intensive research which can be long. In addition, the Chamber may hold a hearing or roundtable to gather more information.

The parliamentary questioning is intermediate. Persons are required to work with, like a survey.

The next five years will find a test site with the new research tool.
