According to a letter sent by the works of ProRail Dijksma. "With care and surprise the OR of ProRail has taken note of the reports in the media that the government would soon consider a different positioning of ProRail," according to the letter, which is owned by RTL Z.

The company is responsible for the management and maintenance of the track in the Netherlands. But problems with bills, track and catenary often lead to delayed and failed trains and State Secretary Dijksma now plans to tighten the reins and want to gain more control over ProRail, RTL News revealed Saturday.

Only distraction
Bad idea, says the council. Such 'cultural debate' consumes a lot of time, money and energy and will just ensure that there is less time to manage the track good, maintains the staff.

Also, there is amazement that ProRail apparently pushed some of the debt into the shoes of the Fyra debacle, where ProRail all having played any role of the OR.

Peace and space
Further takes the OR it rather strange that Dijksma charge of ProRail wants to draw to himself, and she recently approved the new top management structure of the company and a new Board of Directors.

The Works Council also calls on the government to ProRail 'to award the peace and space "to implement improvements. "In the interests of travelers and shippers, it is now very important that we should do our work," the board wrote on behalf of all ProRail colleagues. "Full of passion and craftsmanship, we are already busy with our challenging work!"
