AMSTERDAM - Er woedt een bieroorlog tussen brouwer Heineken en supermarktketen Jumbo.
They have a hooglopend conflict over the supply of beer, making the shops at the supermarket group no more beer crates get delivered.
The conflict comes for Jumbo on an extremely annoying moment. The supermarket company advertises this summer, at the height of the beer market, with a second crate Heineken for half price. In ads in several national newspapers today the supermarket chain offers its customers please excuse it can not deliver crates of Heineken. Jumbo says in the ad boxes and crates with other Heineken beer brands to sell.
