Most accidents in the metal sector

Employees in the metal sector and construction workers are on average the most frequently of all professions involved in an industrial accident. This reports the Central Bureau of statistics (CBS), that together with TNO researched working conditions.

5.1% of the metal workers remained in 2015 or machine mechanics sometimes a day at home after they had been involved in an accident in the workplace. At construction workers could 4.8% of workers ever not work one or more days due to an industrial accident.

Measured across all sectors continued to 1.4% of workers ever one or more days at home after an accident at work. Other occupations in which workers above-average danger walk include butchers, drivers, operators of mobile machinery and gardeners, farmers and livestock farmers.

Workers in the construction and metal, for that matter, most frequently to their colleagues speak on unsafe or unhealthy work. Electricians and electronics engineers warn each other the most often of all.

The investigation came forward that men taken by the bank have a dangerous job more often than women. In nine of the ten occupational groups in which the most often accidents happen are more men than women work.
