Deputy Prime Minister Lodewijk Asscher has not officially raised as a candidate for leader of the Labour Party, but he is seen by voters as the big favorite. 47 percent of Labour voters support Asscher, against 26 percent for Diederik Samson.
This is evident from the weekly poll by Maurice de Hond. 11 percent of the PvdA has a preference for Labour MP Jacques Monasch.
Voters of all parties see together more than Monasch Samson: 15 percent against 11 percent. Nevertheless, the probability that Samson is the higher estimate (21 percent) than the probability that Monasch will lead the PvdA list (3 percent).
It is expected that Asscher tomorrow will announce his candidacy. Thursday was already reported by sources that the Labour Minister is going to interfere in the conflict. Asschier wanted did not confirm.
